This was a real surprise. A fresh-smelling seafood establishment that really lives up to the hype. Great customer service from all the staff, especially Steven! He was helpful with suggestions, and was thoughtful and considerate of my sister's shellfish allergy. I ordered the fried shrimp, sole and hush puppies and all 3 were scrumptious and NOT TOO SALTY! Very flavorful and tender. Really outstanding...I was impressed...and coming from LA I'm hard to impress...I've had some GOOD fried fish! I'll be back for sure!

The food was fire!! Its thee best hole in the wall place for fresh fried up seafood! Everything was so amazing! Check them out!!

What I've ordered: $25 for 2 dungeness crabs $26 for 1 lb jumbo tiger prawns > large $8.50 1lb catfish > soft and good breading Scallops > favorite, soft, good flavor Frog legs > tastes like chicken Soft shell crab $5 each -price is good. -fresh seafood -had them fry all of them. Took about 30min. -took order quickly. -parking is limited. Maybe 10 spots.

I've been going there for 30 years and have never been disappointed. Fast friendly service. My favorite orders have been Basa , fries, shrimp, shrimp balls, hush puppies, fried okra and grab a bottle of crystal hot sauce every few visits.

Ok, I saw this on the Tok and had to try. When I called I explained this was my 1st time ordering and to be patience with me, lady giggled. I ordered 1/2lb of sausage, scallops, tilapia, crab clusters 2, and catfish nuggets with 3sides of corn, hush puppies and fries. When we got our food it was all in little brown bags. I asked if they had any trays to dump all the food in and the gentleman told me, "You should have said that when you ordered" I looked right at the cashier who took my call and she looked confused. They have garlic butter to order aswell. Food was yummy but it was very awkward in the store because it's a seafood market. They didn't have any lemon but we made due. So for future customers!!!! Call your order in advance, if it's a large amount ask for it to be in tray. Buy the butter and ask if they have napkins. Definitely going back

The food was fresh and tasty, just the right seasoning. Crisp, and gently flacky just the way I like it. Calamari, soft shell crab and medium shrimp. Delivered in timely manner and hot when arrived. Food was bagged separately and sealed which I especially appreciated. Not greasy at all.

I've heard of and always wanted to try Soultran Seafood in Vallejo, CA. This place exceeded expectations for sure! A seafood market where you can purchase seafood and pay a fee for them to then cook to order. They have a vast selection of meats and seafood to choose from. Multiple types of shrimp and fish. Crab, liver and gizzards, boudan, and frog legs among many other additional items. We picked a selection of items. Everything was great minus the frog legs and soft shell crab. In my opinion these were the only two items that weren't available on ice in front of us from what we ordered. We noticed when the items were being weighed that they both were frozen solid at the time they were being weighed. This in my opinion is why the texture and taste was off on these two items. The fried okra was good. The corn wasn't what I expected and I wouldn't order again. This place is a five out of five and I will be returning in the future.
